Focus Futures Foundation is a teen-led initiative founded by Azaniya Genda while she was a 10th-grade student at South Hagerstown High School. The organization was created to help teenagers develop the confidence, skills, and experience to become effective leaders. Through workshops, educational resources, speaking opportunities, and hands-on leadership experiences, we equip young people to discover their potential and lead with purpose.
Our vision is to build a growing network of teen leaders who not only develop their own leadership skills but also use what they learn to help other teenagers become leaders. By empowering teens to teach, speak, mentor, and lead, Focus Futures Foundation is creating a multiplying cycle of young leaders developing other young leaders.
Teen-led workshops designed to strengthen leadership, communication, confidence, responsibility, and practical skills young people can use in school, their communities, and their future careers.
Teen-focused books, educational materials, and practical resources that help young people develop strong habits, leadership skills, personal responsibility, and confidence in pursuing their goals.
A growing network of teen leaders who speak, teach, and conduct workshops for other young people. Our goal is to develop teen leaders who develop more teen leaders, creating a continuous cycle of leadership and positive impact.
